What’s in the Book
The 800 photographs in this collection reveal the harsh realities of war in the Pacific Theater during World War II. See landing operations on hostile beaches, soldiers struggling through mud and sand, equipment moving through dense jungles. Why A Book?
When two photo albums and several hundred loose photographs were anonymously donated to the Twin Falls County Veterans Service Office, no one knew who had taken them or how they had survived for decades. To preserve the collection and make it available to others, the photographs were sorted, scanned, researched, and assembled into the book World War II Historical Photos.
